UPDATE: Paribus no longer works with Amazon.
Are there cons to Paribus?
Sucky, sure, but also fair, yeah?
What got you and your friend to build it?
We felt the pain of getting burned by bad deals too many times, and wanted something for ourselves.
And when we realized that prices are youtube amazon queen slot faster and less transparently than ever, it became clear that we as consumers needed some serious help.
My co-founder Karim and I have been friends for six years.

The word Paribus captures this.

This number can vary a lot depending on how often you shop.
How much have App for money back on amazon, personally, saved from your own darling creation?
I do most of my online shopping with my Discover card.
They have aso if you buy something, and it drops in price drops after, you can get the difference back from the credit card.
Many stores only have 7-14 day price protection coverage periods, but policies at credit cards can extend as long as 3 months.
So a lot longer opportunity to get money back.

There can be a lot of savings in price protection, and its our mission to help you get all of it.
Note: To be clear, I have no outside affiliation with Discover Is Paribus safe?

Or is it a legitimate one?

Complete credit card information is never stored on Paribus servers.
Any sensitive information stored is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
Lots going on behind the scenes to make sure information is very well protected.
Last, I think your reaction is totally on point — we know of many members who have created a brand new https://krautfunding.info/amazon/free-shipping-promotional-codes-amazon.html account just for shopping, and linked this account up with Paribus.
What about submitting tickets on their behalf, say, to Target.
Is there any way they can get in trouble or blacklisted from them, God forbid?
Nothing excessive, no fraud, nothing unfair.
Based on the thousands of data-points we have seen, not a single Paribus member has faced this issue so far.
Besides, if stores get to change 80 million prices a day, we think its only fair that you have strong technology on your side too.
Is the plan forward to extend into physical stores too?
What other upgrades do you guys envision rolling out?
Something like 90% of shopping in the U.

Thanks for reading the blog!
I wonder if Amazon re-sellers can use this service.
Money not spent is money saved!
May 13, 2015 at 8:07 am Interesting about re-sellers!
And agreed — best way to save money and 100% at that!
At the heart of it, these guys are bulk buyers.
Price drops affect everyone, even if you intend to re-sell the item later.
Totally right on your point with frugal living.
But when do make your occasional purchases online, we look forward to being able to help!
May 13, 2015 at 7:36 am I think this is a very good service!
May 16, 2015 at 6:04 pm Hey Clarisse!
It is a goal to go international, but for now Paribus just supports the US-websites of the stores listed here: That said, we do have many members abroad in Europe, Middle East, Asia, South America, etc.
I will definitely sign up before I start my seasonal shopping.
Looking forward to the savings this year.
And, thank you, J.
Money, for introducing this great app!
It would be interesting to see if a surge comes their way then, especially from all us non-shoppers out there : May 13, 2015 at 11:29 am I hate shopping for deals, so this is the App for me!
Paribus- please hook us up with App for money back on amazon Depot and Lowes next!
May 13, 2015 at 11:32 am We aim to please, Hannah!
And appreciate the quick feedback too — will be adding these to our product roadmap.
Elise Simply Scaled Down May 13, 2015 at 8:06 am Wow, this is a great app.

May 13, 2015 at 10:52 am awesome!
Think there can be a place for those, but they felt really out of place and unprofessional here.
I work in a job that requires a lot of free amazon and chatting.
May 16, 2016 at 3:33 pm Sounds amazing!
I plan to sign up but did you get a referral code when you signed up, J.
Logan Maloy May 13, 2015 at 10:27 am AWESOME concept.
Even if it saves me nothing it also cost me nothing, right.
Not that I try and make it a habit : May 13, 2015 at 10:35 am I do most of my purchases online so this seems perfect.
Hoping for the best!
Noelle May 13, 2015 at 10:45 am My question, as always for these types of reviews, is it available to Canadians?
And they save money!
You just have to shop at the US-versions of the stores for the work around… May 13, 2015 at 11:18 am Cool app!
My husband and I can get really irked over scenarios where something goes on sale after we buy it.
For some reason that gets under our skin.
The Walmart price-matching app is also pretty slick for in-store shopping.
Do I only have to give them access to my free promotional code amazon shipping that is used for online shopping?
Or do they have access to my bank account cc transactions as well?
May 14, 2015 at 2:37 am Hi Ashley!
Definitely a solid question.
Paribus detects purchases from e-receipts sent to the email that you join with.
Paribus does not have access to your bank account or CC transactions.
When Paribus engages successfully on your behalf and a store issues you a price adjustment, you will typically receive that price adjustment in the form of the store refunding money directly into your original form of payment with the store.
For example, if you originally paid with a debit card, you should receive a credit for the amount of the refund on that debit card.
The store, and not Paribus, issues the full refund.
Reelika Financially Wise On Heels May 13, 2015 at 3:54 pm That is new to me!
I had never heard about them.
I wonder whether it works worldwide or only in the US?
You got me interested, I have to do some more research : Thanks for sharing this, I appreciate it!
May 14, 2015 at 11:02 am US only, but if you shop directly at app for money back on amazon US-based sites it could work then ; May 13, 2015 at 4:02 pm I buy basically everything on Amazon except groceries.
This seems perfect for me.
Thanks for the heads up!
Tami May 13, 2015 at 4:15 pm I will sign up for sure.
Love Amazon, but they are rather sneaky with watching what I buy and for how much.
Thanks for creating this and I look forward to being a part of your growth!
Heather May 13, 2015 at 6:14 pm Definitely going to try this!
Thanks for the info!
Chung May 13, 2015 at 11:07 pm I just signed up.
The process to sign up is easy.
May 16, 2015 at 6:07 pm Great to have you onboard, Chung!
I make plenty of amazon purchases so should help out.
Hopefully I emailed them and stuff will get straightened out, or it just works on future sales not the past 30 days.
Either way hopefully comes out well for everyone.
May 14, 2015 at 10:30 pm Maybe it takes a little bit to aggregate or something?
May 16, 2015 at 6:09 pm Hey Philip, Apologies for the hassle — looks like we were having a minor hiccup on the server, but should be resolved.
I think my co-founder, Karim, was in touch, though please do let us know if anything else comes up.
Great to have you onboard!
Eric Philip May 18, 2015 at 8:43 am Yes, they did get back and it is connected and finding the purchases.
Great support, good sign of things to come, now just hoping for a catch on an amazon purchase.
May 14, 2015 at 10:21 pm I agreed, why the heck has no one done this sooner?!
If they can get the logistics sorted out and partner with more retailers and countries.
Fortunately, I saw that during the 30-day price drop period and soon after got a nice refund on my credit card.
Question: Does this work if you purchase something through cashback sites like Ebates or FatWallet?
May 16, 2015 at 6:13 pm Hey Kim, Founder Paribus here.
It works no matter where or how you make your purchase.
As long as you 1 Make a purchase from one of the supported stores listed here: and 2 Have the e-receipt delivered to the email that you sign-up to Paribus with, then you should be all set.
Great to have you onboard, and always feel free to get in touch!
Eric May 20, 2015 at 12:12 pm I signed up but have a quick question….
May 20, 2015 at 12:27 pm Hi Heather.
Karim from the Paribus team here.
More practically: 1 If you delete your receipts and shipping confirmation at the end of the day, you should be fine.
July 15, 2015 at 12:07 pm this doesnt frighten you though?
Jason July 17, 2015 at 6:49 pm I understand that it scans receipts from your inbox, but if you usually delete receipts and put it in the trash, does it scan your trashcan for receipts too?
Thanks for the reply.
More practically: 1 If you delete your receipts and shipping confirmation at the end of the day, you should be fine.
They did just release an iPhone app though.
Heather September 2, 2015 at 5:32 pm I signed up through the app instead of the link, do you have a referral code I can enter on the app?
Let me know how it goes after a while : Nicky November 18, 2015 at 8:05 am What if your purchase is made with a gift card?
Maybe ping them on Twitter or Facebook or email and ask?
And then let us know what you find out?
I noticed in the upper right in most of the purchases it had the word ineligible.
When I clicked on that it stated that this item did not fall under amazons price match plan, or something to that regard.
I do most shopping on amazon, so should I expect most of my purchases through there, via my prime account, to wind up being ineligible for price match?
Just sit back, relax and enjoy the savings on autopilot.
Doug Carroll February 29, 2016 at 1:36 pm Is there a process to withdraw from click at this page service if I find it is not worth while?
February 29, 2016 at 3:09 pm Marc here from Paribus!
It is unfortunate you want to leave us already, but to help improve our user experience do you have any feedback on what we could have done better?
Miss ya already :' Marc Cedric Ingram March 2, 2016 at 9:54 pm I just signed up.
How can none of my purchases be eligible?
Staples and Amazon are on the list.
It will only let me use Amazon… Also, does Amazon.
Smile work as one of your merchants…?
March 15, 2016 at 1:55 pm Hey Jim, All the other supported merchants are taken care of paribus.
What about if you keep it as new but move it to another folder within your mail?
I keep all my receipts in one folder for tracking.
Also, I just signed up and it is not registering any of my purchases.
This might be visit web page I use the old school aol.
Marc Paribus April 25, 2016 at 1:59 pm Hey Katie, As long as they are still in your inbox or in subfolders you should be all set!
Did you make sure to link your Amazon Account as well?
Barb April 11, 2016 at 10:45 am What if your receipts are not emailed to you?
Will this still work Marc Paribus April 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm Hey Barb, It only works for online retailers unfortunately they will always send you a receipt Melissa April 15, 2016 at 4:24 pm How does Paribus calculate when to ask the retailer for a partial refund?
What threshold must be met for the claim to be submitted?
Marc Paribus April 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm I have my own domain and email hosted with Rackspace and it says my email provider is not currently supported.
Is this due to my custom domain or the fact that rackspace hosted emails are not supported?
And is there any plan to support this in the future?
Marc Paribus April 25, 2016 at 2:02 pm Hey Michael, Please make sure you linked your Amazon Account properly.
Once you do, we will track your purchases and check for price differences multiple times a day.
And if you are eligible, we will file a claim on your behalf and get you the difference back Jennifer January 1, 2017 at 4:13 pm I purchased something from Amazon and it said eligibility ended 22 days ago but I only purchased it 6 days ago.
Am I missing something on how this app works?
Annie May 1, 2017 at 12:13 am Why would the service need to delete or send emails?
And what about general correspondence of a personal nature?
July 10, 2017 at 10:33 am PARIBUS wants permission to read and MANAGE my emails?
I read some comments on their Facebook page.
She NEVER wrote addduch a comment!
And the CEO has a BA in EAST ASIAN STUDIES.
Come on, this company is terrible.
Nothing but bad comments.
September 18, 2018 at 1:54 pm Yeah, the last time I checked when this review was donethey needed access to email so they can automatically get the receipts and refund the money on your behalf.
